Re “When is a swede a turnip? When it’s in a Cornish pasty, say Brussels bureaucrats” (Daily Telegraph, 20th August 2010)

Letter to the Editor of The Daily Telegraph, sent 20th August 2010:
Dear Sir,
Your article “When is a swede a turnip? When it’s in a Cornish pasty, say Brussels bureaucrats” and accompanying comment published today, 20 August, whilst amusing is inaccurate.
In fact, it was The Cornish Pasty Association who dictated the recipe and ingredients, even the conditions to produce the pasty, as well as the geographical area where it can be produced, in its application for an EU quality label for its famous pasties.
Yours sincerely
