        Dear Rosa,
        thank you for the answer.
There is another thing I’d like to have a clarification on: The information material mentions a quota system that assigns a certain number of laureats to the various institutions. The quota system is used for the EPSO/AD/230-231/12 reserve list, I suppose? And does this really mean that we will not have access to the vacancy system what so ever for three to six months?

          Dear Laura,
Yes, the quotas’ system applies to the reserve lists of competitions EPSO/AD/230-231/12. Candidates will have access to the vacancy system only after the quotas have been lifted – after 3 to 6 months, depending on the needs of the recruiting institutions.
          With kind regards,

    Dera EU Careers,

Am I to understand that the ONLY AD exams in 2013 are exclusively for the 2010 candidates? I ask because As far as I’m aware in 2010 there was no External Relations stream… and I’m wondering if that one will still be conducted this year or if I’m going to have to wait until 2014.

    Hi,
    I received this communication :

    Dear Mr minganti,

You were a candidate in one or more of the competitions affected by EPSO’s commitment following the judgement in the F-35/08 Pachtitis/Commission case. Now that the General Court has confirmed that initial ruling, the purpose of this letter is to inform you about how the commitment will affect you.

The European Institutions, via EPSO’s Management Board, have decided that, in March 2013, the AD5 generalist cycle will be replaced by competitions launched exclusively for the candidates of EPSO/AD/177/10, EPSO/AD/178/10 and EPSO/AD/179/10 who were excluded from the selection process on the basis of their results in the admission tests, either because they did not reach the pass mark, or because they were not amongst the best candidates to be invited to the Assessment Centre based on their score.

Precise organisational details have yet to be finalised, but you may rest assured that the Institutions intend to ensure that your chances of success are broadly the same as in the original selections.

You will receive further information concerning practical aspects of the application process towards the end of the year. Until then, no further action on your part is required.

    ———————
But so far I have received no communication – can you provide some info?

    Thx
    Massimo

    Dear Sir/Madam,

For the Administrators (AD5) of Croat citizenship open competition, it is stated that these are the maximum points that can be obtained:
    VR-20
    NR-10
    AR-10
    SJT -40

that actually means that SJT has 40 points and VR, NR and AR alltogether another 40 points, or differently stated that one can obtain 50% points just on SJT.

My question is do all these points have an equal weight, meaning that 40 points in SJT has a 1/2 or 50% weight of the overall test, or that 1 point (no matter from which section obtained) has a 1/80% weight of the test?
    Thanks

      Hi Vlatko,
The weight of each test is indeed proportional to the number of points awarded to him. Candidates must have 24 points out of 40 for the SJT, 10 points out of 20 for the VR and 10/20 for the NR and AR combined.

    Dear Sir/Madame,

I would like to know in which way should I best indicate in my application form (for Croatian Administrators) that I will have recieved an additional degree fifteen days after the application deadline? It is important to note that this is an MA degree, while I already hold a BA which is a minimum requirement for application. The notice of open competition in this particular case seems to provide no details on the issue.

In case there is no way to include this information into the application now, I would also like to know if there is a possibility of updating my application later on in the assessment process?

    Best,
    Bryan

      Dear Bryan,
It will not be possible to update your application form after its validation.
You may mention this information under the ‘Motivation and Strengths’ section or if your really prefer in the ‘Education and Trainings’ section (please select then as ending date ‘Today’ and indicate in the description that you haven’t yet obtained the diploma)
      Best regards,

I have created my EPSO account and I have uploaded a required form of my CV two weeks ago in order to compete for position of an Administrator.
So far, I haven’t received any respond, e-mail or instruction from EPSO website. So I’m asking for a tip what exactly to do in order to validate and send my application as a participant in open competiton for Croatia’s Administrator? Should I and where to send or upload copies of supporting documents?
Thanks in advance for your tip and time.

      Hi Anta,
A competition in the field of economics will be organized at AD7 level. Also in the field of IT (AD5 and AD7 level).

Does it then mean that there won’t be any Administrator competition in 2013??
Thank you in advance for your reply.

      Dear Elisa,
The next general competition for Administrators will most likely not be published before March 2014.
As soon as a new competition is foreseen, it would be announced in our indicative planning.
      Best regards,

Will the 2013 be used then to have a re-exam for those people who took the test in 2010 (aspects of which were subject to the ECJ case)? Also, is there any statistics available for the 2012 cycle by nationalities, e.g. how many people from certain country took the test and got to the assesment centre?

          Hi Ilmars,
All candidates who applied in 2010 will have the possibility to apply again in 2013.
          Those statistics are not communicated.

            Hi Rosa,
I assume that not all candidates who applied in 2010 can apply to the AD5 competition in 2013, only the ones who were not successful in the CBT? In other words, candidates who made it to the assessment centre but not the reserve list cannot apply? Could you please say if this is correct? Thank you!
