Dear Nathalie,
I have some technical issues related to the selection of temporary agents COM/TA/ESTAT/13. After opening the vacancy notice, I cannot find any valid link to the application form. After clicking on the indicated link to apply, I am lead to the EPSO’s website, logged into my EPSO account, but I cannot find any application form related to this specific competition. I already contacted EUROSTAT, but they told me I should write to you. Could you please send me the correct link of the application form as soon as possible?
Many thanks and best regards,
Janka

Taking that into account, I would appreciate very much if you would consider letting me take part in the competition EPSO/AD/250/13 or EPSO/AD/251/13? At the time the exams will be taken place, my county will be a full member.
Would you kindly consider letting me participate?

Apr 24, 2013 @ 15:10:30
Dear Marie, what does the “number of eligible candidates to this re-run” mean, is it the number of people who registered in 2010 and sat the tests; or is it the number of people who confirmed their interest in the re-run this year?
Thanks,
Marco

Mar 26, 2013 @ 14:06:06
Hello:
I have been invited to the re-run of the 2010 AD competition. Today I got this message in my personal email:
” Dear candidate,
You’ve got a new message in your EPSO-profile. Please consult it by clicking on the following link: http://www.europa.eu/epso
Best regards,
Your EPSO team”
I thought it would be the message to book the CBT test, but when I have checked it I didn’t have any new messages. Could it be a mistake? Or it’s possible the message got lost?
Thanks.
Mar 26, 2013 @ 15:41:44

Mar 20, 2013 @ 17:26:46
Dear EPSO
Why only candidates that applied in 2010 can now take the tests? I feel something very strange is happening… Can you tell me which court decision is it?
Mar 22, 2013 @ 09:41:57
Dear Gustavo,
The information requested has been addressed on the dedicated pages available under the section ADMINISTRATORS 2010: http://blogs.ec.europa.eu/eu-careers.info/administrators/administrators-2010/

Mar 20, 2013 @ 07:36:23
Dear EPSO team,
the ID that I introduced in 2010 expired and I have a new one.
Is this going to have any impact on my registration at the moment of the Test ?
Best regards
Luca Barani
Mar 20, 2013 @ 14:35:48
Dear Luca,
This will not be a problem at the test centre, since my colleagues will check the validity of your new identification card and if the name is the same as on the invitation letter.

Mar 19, 2013 @ 16:19:36
Dear Epso,
Is it certain that no administrator competition will be held in 2013 or things can change after the publication of the corrigendum? thank you!
Mar 20, 2013 @ 14:38:40
Dear Vladimir,
No competition at AD5 level is currently foreseen this year, but we may always advise you to consult our indicative planning on regular basis.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 21, 2013 @ 00:47:59
Dear Marie
and what about at AD7 level?
I mean the “big” competition for the generalist areas (Public Administration, Law, Audit, Communication, External Relations).
Thanks.
Mar 22, 2013 @ 15:24:08
Dear Pedro,
Only competitions for specialists administrators are foreseen this year.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 19, 2013 @ 14:34:23
Dear Sir, Dear Madam,
I am a Belgian citizen and would like to make a short inquiry about the upcoming corrigendum to the 2010 Administrator’s AD5 competition.
If I understood correctly, my old 2010 application will become valid again and I will be assigned a new candidate’s number. Does this also mean that I will be unable to change my first and second language?
The reason why I ask is that I entered English as a first language and French as a second language in 2010. As a consequence, my CBT tests were administered in French. However, I have been raised in Dutch, French and English (with Dutch and French as two official Belgian languages). In case the possibility arises, I would enter Dutch as a first language and English as a second language since I used manuals in English to prepare for this year’s test.
If this is impossible, I would of course take the test in French again but I wanted to verify by this channel.
Thank you for your time.
Frédéric Van Kerrebroeck
Mar 22, 2013 @ 10:33:56
Dear Frédéric,
Your original application form will be uploaded to your account once you have confirmed your participation. However, no changes are possible and the language choice indicated in 2010 will apply.
With kind regards,
Rosa
Mar 19, 2013 @ 13:38:52
Dear EPSO Team,
Since 2010, my CV evolved somewhat.
Is it going to be possible to update the old online application accordingly ?
Best regards
Luca Barani
Mar 19, 2013 @ 16:00:50
Dear Luca,
It is unfortunately not possible to update your application form.
You may on the other hand upload a cv in the ‘CVs’ section of your EPSO Account, but it will only be consulted by the Recruitment services if and when your name will be shortlisted in this reserve list.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 19, 2013 @ 12:18:42

Thanks, Monica
Mar 22, 2013 @ 10:16:28

Mar 15, 2013 @ 21:57:30
Dear EPSO,
I have two questions for you. Are there nationality quotas during the EPSO exams? If yes, do you have the breakdown for it? I am especially curious for Cyprus.
I was told that general positions for administrators (AD5) will be opened in 2014, is that true?
Thank you!
Mar 20, 2013 @ 13:54:07
Dear Nemanja,
There are no nationality quotas during the selection procedure.
Indeed, there could be competitions at AD5 level published in March 2014.
We advise you to consult our indicative planning on regular basis.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 14, 2013 @ 16:48:52
Dear EPSO Team,
you published a notice on Administrators, today, but there is no news in it, at the contrary of the competitions for AD7 economists, where there is a lot of documentation.
When will I receive the corringendum for the re-run of 2010 competitions, as I did not see anything in my EPSO account.
best regards
Luca Barani
Mar 15, 2013 @ 10:33:10
Dear Luca,
The corrigendum will indeed be published in the coming days.
Regarding competition EPSO/AD/249/13, please see : http://europa.eu/epso/apply/jobs/perm/2013/economist/index_en.htm

Mar 14, 2013 @ 13:08:41
Dear Rosa and Nathalie,
Three questions:
- is EPSO planning a specialist concours for communicators in 2013?
- Moreover ICT require people with an engineer profile rather than communication/journalism?
- A specialist competition seems to be held in the field of ICT (EPSO/AD/177/10) but this is the one reserved for those who applied in 2010, right?
Thanks in advance for your answer!
Kind regards
Torsten
Mar 14, 2013 @ 14:59:54
Dear Torsten,
There is no forthcoming competition in the field of Communication foreseen for the moment.
Please note that ICT refers to IT (informatics) rather than Communication.
This competition EPSO/AD/177/10 was published in 2010 already, it is no longer possible to apply.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 13, 2013 @ 15:02:23
Dear EPSO,
Since there was no AD5 EXT held as part of EPSO/AD177/10 is it still possible that a competition in that field will be organised this year?
Yours faithfully,
Julien
Mar 13, 2013 @ 15:34:18
Dear Julien,
No other competition/selection is foreseen for the moment.
Please see : http://europa.eu/epso/doc/epso_planning_en.pdf
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 12, 2013 @ 14:32:12
Dear EPSO,
if I understood it correctly the competition will be exactly the same as the one in 2010 (e.g. tests only in EN/FR/DE), is this applying also to situational judgement tests, that in 2010 were not eliminatory?
Best regards,
Laura
Mar 15, 2013 @ 11:03:32
Dear Laura,
This will be mentioned in the Corrigendum, which should be published in the coming weeks.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 12, 2013 @ 11:08:28
Dear Rosa,
I’m slightly confused. The Indicative panning shows that AD5 competitions will be held in the field of law. Whilst I understand there will be no general admin competition, judging by the Indicative planning, there willl be the usual competitions in law at AD5? Many thanks for your reply in advance!
Mar 14, 2013 @ 14:36:51
Dear Li,
This competition (EPSO/AD/177/10) is very particular. Only the candidates who had applied in 2010 already for this competition will be invited to take the tests again in 2013. (following a Court decision)
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 11, 2013 @ 16:30:55
1- I would like to know why there is the title Corrigendum under the AD cycle competition, in the indicative planning for 2013?
Does this mean that the information is wrong and that it will be corrected?
2- if I am interested in applying for External Relations, which competition does this fall under, is it public administration or there is a separate competition to join the “External Affairs”.
Thank you in advance for your reply
Mar 14, 2013 @ 14:44:35
Dear Guy,
The section ‘Corrigendum’ is referring to competitions EPSO/AD/177-178-179/10 only. A corrigendum to those Notices of competitions (already published in 2010) will be published in the coming weeks.
You could apply in the field of ‘Public administration’ since the field of the diploma requested will not be specified.
There could be a specific competition/selection published in the future for candidates in the field of External Relations.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 08, 2013 @ 08:51:38
Dear EPSO,
I do have 2(two) questions:
1.What is the date that we will have the results from the admisin tests for AST 2013 that we have passed in march 2013?
2.Is EPSO planning a specilist competition AD for economists in 2013?
Regards, Septimiu
Mar 11, 2013 @ 16:58:33
Dear candidate,
All candidates are usually informed of their CBT results within 3 to 5 weeks after the end of the testing period, which will come to an end on 25/3/2012.
Yes, there is a competition for Economists (AD9/AD12) foreseen to be published in April. Please see : http://jobs.eu-careers.eu/
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
Mar 06, 2013 @ 07:59:49
Hello,
As this year there is no general AD exam, I am trying the AST3 exam. If I am selected for AST3, are there any possibilities to get an AD job by working as AST3 for a while? Or is there any internal AD selection procedure? Or shall I have to wait until an external AD selection procedure is open and resit the selection examination as anybody else?
Thanks for your reply in advance
Mar 06, 2013 @ 11:45:21
Dear Hajni,
If you are recruited as an Assistant after being successful in a competition for AST3, you cannot be recruited as an Administrator. There is a possibility for some Assistants to become Administrators (by certification). As an Assistant you are also allowed to take part in external competitions for Administrators.
Kind regards,
Nathalie
Mar 03, 2013 @ 17:15:28
Dear EPSO,
How and when can I apply for competitions for the Administrators cycle of 2013? I can’t find it on this website, I must be missing something I suppose.
Thank you very much for your answer,
Geert
Mar 04, 2013 @ 12:07:48
Dear Geert,
Candidates can apply during the registration period, which starts on the day the competition is published.
With kind regards,
Rosa
Mar 03, 2013 @ 02:54:40
Dear EPSO,
On the indicative list of planned competitions for specialists there is a mention that EPSO will recruit for a food safety specialist position. What will be the approximate requirements to apply for the position?
All the best,
Radoslaw Kowalski
Mar 11, 2013 @ 14:33:21
Dear Radoslaw,
The admission criterias will be available in the Notice of competition, when it will be published.

Feb 27, 2013 @ 19:35:41
Dear Epso,
I have 3 questions:
1. If both diplomas are good to the access of the competition, the working years during those periods can be considered and added up?
2. “At least three years’ professional experience relevant to the duties concerned”. Are yaers considered solar or effective.
3. paid internships are relevant to the duties concerned are usefull for the competition?
Thanks a lot, best regards
Feb 28, 2013 @ 15:47:29
Dear Kris,
If both diplomas are meeting the admission criterias in order to apply, I confirm that the professional experience is counted from the day that you have obtained the first diploma. Graduate programs (studies) may not be considered as work experience. Paids internships could be taken into consideration as work experience. Three years of professional experience = 36 months. This will be evaluated by the Selection Board.

Feb 12, 2013 @ 14:30:31
Hello Rosa and Nathalie
those people that sat the AD5 concour in 2010 will be able to take the exam again in 2013. Which rules will apply then in terms of language regime for the verbal reasoning? and in terms of taking into account the SJT in the final score? The same as 2010?
I think it is fundamental at this stage to clarify the two issues.
Thank you,
Regards,
Carla
Feb 14, 2013 @ 16:52:38

Thank you Nathalie.
I wrote EPSO through the form and they answered that the language regime will be the Language 2 as indicated in 2010 (so EN or FR or DE).Could you confirm?

Dear Natalie,
Do you know if Language 2 will be the same as the one chosen by a candidate in 2010? Can it be changed this year (e.g. from French to English)?
Kind regards,
Cristina
Mar 11, 2013 @ 15:16:48
Dear Cristina,
Yes, the language of the computer-based tests will be the same as in 2010 : in each candidate’s language 2 (FR/EN/DE)
It will not be possible to change your selection.

EPSO shuld give candidates the possibility to change the language selection made in 2010, when only three languages were available as language 2. Do you think this will be possible?
Thank you
Mar 11, 2013 @ 14:31:34
Dear Alessio,
The computer-based tests will only be organized in FR/EN/DE regarding this competition. (in each candidate’s language 2)
It will not be possible to change your selection.

Dear,
Why is there no general Administrator competition planned for 2013? Wasn`t this meant to be a yearly re-occurring event? Also, could you please let me know if there is one planned for 2014? If already known, when would this be including application timing (ie, approximate dates are perfectly fine)?
Thanks and kind regards,
Murat

Stefano

Hi,
I’ve heard that this year I’wont to do the administrator exam because this year is reserved only to the people that tried the EPSO/AD/177/10, is this true?
Thanks!
Feb 06, 2013 @ 15:32:03

Dear Nathalie,
Thanks for your answer!
General Administrator competitions includes IT administrator competitions?
When will be published the competitions for this year?
Kind regards!

Dear Rosa, just to be sure – does “general AD competition” includes AD competition in the field of law? In other words, no competition of AD5-7 level for lawyers in 2013?
Thank you
