    Dear Rosa,

Is EPSO going to plan some AD7 audit competition by 2014? I´m wondering if having the required experience it would be better to wait for, and not to apply to AD5 audit, that has just been noticed.

    Thanks.

    Luis Adolfo.

    Dear EPSO,
I took part in the AC stage of AD2010 cycle last year. I understand now that instead of March/April the results would not be before May. Is this correct? That would mean that I -and others- would have to register for this year’s cycle and do the test even though I could already be a succesful candidate?
    Thanks,
    Joost

If you are interested and eligible you can apply.

        Dear EPSO,
Is it possible to know when the results of the 2013 AD/177/10 are expected to be made available? Officially, it was stated that this would occur mid-March. Is March still a reasonable date, or should we expect to know the results later on? In the latter case, when would this be?
        Many thanks

Could you please specify the language requirements further? I would like to start practising the different tests, but I would need to know which language I should practice them in.
So can I sit the verbal and the numerical reasoning and the abstract reasoning in English, even though it’s my mother tongue or should I prepare in French?

As i have noticed, during March they are going to be held two selection procedures, one for Administrators (general) and one for Administrators (audit). My question is what is the difference between those two selection procedures? And is there any possibility to sit for both of them or i will have to select only one?

      Dear Pantelis,

The competition for administrators in the field of Audit is mainly for working in Luxembourg at the court of Auditors.
The competition for administrators (generalists) is for general profiles, no specific ones requested and it is to work in the Institutions in general.

You can sit for both of them as it is two different competitions.

    Dear EPSO,

I’ve noticed that the “indicative planning” document on your website has been updated to include first information on competitions to be held in 2014. As far as AD cycle goes, there are two fields mentioned “Administrators” and “Audit”. While “Audit” seems fairly self-explanatory the “Administrators” field is a bit of a puzzle. Could you explain what exactly it reffers to? European Public Administration? In such case are there any plans to hold a competition for administrators in the field of law in 2014?

Any clarification would be gratly appreciated!

      Dear Mikolaj,
The competition with title ‘Administrators’ will most likely be open to all candidates holding a university degree. The job description and the eligibility requirements (regarding diploma and work experience) will be mentioned in the competition notice.
Should another competition be foreseen to be published in the coming months, it would be added to the indicative planning.

    Dear EPSO,

Concerning EPSO/AD/177/10 – LAW2013 Administrators – AD5 concours, may I ask on what basis is the threshold (to be invited to the next stage of selection) defined? Is it based on a mathematical average of the overall results obtained by candidates at the CBT admission tests or does it already take into account your CV and the rest of the information available at candidate’s EPSO account?

Moreover, should the curricular information available at candidate’s EPSO account be updated, or should it reflect the CV held at the date of the beginning of this concours, 2010?

    Kind regards,
    Alexandre

      Dear Tina,
All forthcoming competitions are pre-announced via our indicative planning : http://europa.eu/epso/doc/epso_planning_en.pdf
In the column ‘EUR/languages’, it will be indicated if a competition would be open to all EU citizens (‘EUR27′ or ‘EUR28′ would be indicated) or if a competition would be limited to Slovenian speaking candidates (‘SL’ would be indicated), for example. In this case, all EU citizens could apply if their main language is Slovenian. (perfect command)

The Selection Board will only check if you meet the admission criteria mentioned in the Notice of competition. 1) Could you please confirm me that this EPSO for Italian translators will take place this year and it will not be postponed like the past year? If you have some information about this matter, could you redirect me to the right page/source?
    2) Plus, given this summer registration when we could expect to be called for sitting the Verb/Num test? After 6 months (like for the CAST exams), so it would be in December or the AD has a different time schedule?
Thank you in advance for your kind help and attention.

      Hello:
I have been invited to the re-run of the 2010 AD competition. Today I got this message in my personal email:
      ” Dear candidate,
You’ve got a new message in your EPSO-profile. Please consult it by clicking on the following link: http://www.europa.eu/epso
      Best regards,
      Your EPSO team”
I thought it would be the message to book the CBT test, but when I have checked it I didn’t have any new messages. Could it be a mistake? Or it’s possible the message got lost?
      Thanks.

    Dear Sir, Dear Madam,

I am a Belgian citizen and would like to make a short inquiry about the upcoming corrigendum to the 2010 Administrator’s AD5 competition.

If I understood correctly, my old 2010 application will become valid again and I will be assigned a new candidate’s number. Does this also mean that I will be unable to change my first and second language?

The reason why I ask is that I entered English as a first language and French as a second language in 2010. As a consequence, my CBT tests were administered in French. However, I have been raised in Dutch, French and English (with Dutch and French as two official Belgian languages). In case the possibility arises, I would enter Dutch as a first language and English as a second language since I used manuals in English to prepare for this year’s test.

If this is impossible, I would of course take the test in French again but I wanted to verify by this channel.

    Thank you for your time.

      Dear Kris,
If both diplomas are meeting the admission criterias in order to apply, I confirm that the professional experience is counted from the day that you have obtained the first diploma. Graduate programs (studies) may not be considered as work experience. Paids internships could be taken into consideration as work experience. Three years of professional experience = 36 months. This will be evaluated by the Selection Board.

            Dear Natalie,

Do you know if Language 2 will be the same as the one chosen by a candidate in 2010? Can it be changed this year (e.g. from French to English)?

            Kind regards,

            Cristina

EPSO shuld give candidates the possibility to change the language selection made in 2010, when only three languages were available as language 2. Do you think this will be possible?

      Thank you

    Dear,

Why is there no general Administrator competition planned for 2013? Wasn`t this meant to be a yearly re-occurring event? Also, could you please let me know if there is one planned for 2014? If already known, when would this be including application timing (ie, approximate dates are perfectly fine)?

    Thanks and kind regards,
    Murat

    Hi,
I’ve heard that this year I’wont to do the administrator exam because this year is reserved only to the people that tried the EPSO/AD/177/10, is this true?
    Thanks!

General Administrator competitions includes IT administrator competitions?
When will be published the competitions for this year?

          Dear Ivan,
Competitions in the field of IT are specialized selection procedures, being of AD or AST level.
There is no decision available from the institutions on future selection procedures to be launched.

Dear Rosa, just to be sure – does “general AD competition” includes AD competition in the field of law? In other words, no competition of AD5-7 level for lawyers in 2013?
            Thank you
