Dear Rosa, Marie and Nathalie,
I have found this document on your web-site and it seems like our AD list will be valid until 2016, for AD5 Administrator competition for Croatian nationals. Is that true? Can you confirm this?

That means you can CONFIRM that our reserve list will extend until 2016? That is what is written in the document attached on that web-page.
Thx for your help.

Dear EPSO reps,
My understanding is that candidates on the reserve list are to be informed about vacancies in EU institutions via ther EPSO account. If this is the case, is it possible for you to estimate when we will get access to this information?
Thank you and best regards,
Nadia
oct. 04, 2013 @ 14:21:33
Dear Nadia,
Indeed, the EU institutions could publish vacancies via your EPSO Account, but only after (minimum) the first three months of validity of this reserve list. A decision will be taken between the third and the sixth month of validity.
Please see the ‘information pack to laureate’ that you have received in our communication dd. 23/08/2013 via your EPSO Account.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers

Sirs,
I am a senior economist at the IMF. I am interested in a position in the EU institutions, however, I have missed the deadline for application to the new openings reserved to Croatian nationals. Do you know if you may have any new openings for Croatians this year? Regards,
Izabela
août 26, 2013 @ 11:07:17
Dear Izabela,
Since Croatia has now joined the EU, Croatian citizens may apply for any competition published on the EPSO website if they meet the admission criteria. (also regarding the requested language combinations mentioned in the Notice of competition)
There will no longer be competitions organized for Croatian citizens only.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
août 26, 2013 @ 23:52:26
Dear Marie,
I have heard from people who have worked in EU institutions for a long time that normally, when a new country joins, there are special national competitions organised during 3-5 years after that, too, and most profiles are represented 2-3 times during that period, on such national competitions which are reputed as being much easier to pass.
If this is the end of the national competitions for Croatia, why is the above principle not respected for this enlargement? Why are our chances reduced to 1/3 of the chance nationals of other countries had when they were joining? Shouldn’t the opportunities be the same?
Thank you.
Regards,
Marina
oct. 04, 2013 @ 12:52:23
Dear Marina,
I confirm that there is a special arrangement for Croatian nationals until mid-2018: http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:L:2012:351:0033:0033:EN:PDF
I apologize for our previous wrong answer.
Kind regards,
Nathalie
oct. 09, 2013 @ 22:48:13
Dear Natalie, would you be so kind and elaborate a little bit more what exactly “special arrangement for Croatian nationals until mid-2018” means? I have read the attached document but it doesn’t really say much more. Will there be new competitions organized specifically for Croatian citizens? And if yes, when we could expect them?
Thank you very much in advance
oct. 11, 2013 @ 16:32:08
Dear Tanja,
As a general rule, EU Competitions are open to all EU citizens. Competitions only open to Croatian citizens could, by way of exception, be organized until mid-2018.
Best regards,
Marie – EU Careers
