Bonjour!
Par la présente je voudrais vous demander de préciser le numéro des candidats sous Option 1 du Concours EPSO/AD/233/12 (AD5) qui seront invités à la phase d’évaluation?
Bien à vous,
Iris
Nov 23, 2012 @ 11:49:51
Hi Iris,
The number of candidates invited to the assessment centre will be approximately three times the number of successful candidates indicated in the competition notice, i.e. 135 candidates (45 x 3) will be invited.

Greetings;
I applied for EPSO/AD/233/12 position, option 2. I can see that you published the number of applications according to the option, but will there be published a number of applications according to the second and the third language?
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Nika
Sep 27, 2012 @ 12:59:09
Dear Nika,
As the reserve list of successful candidates is not split into different groups according to candidates’ second or third language, we do not publish the requested information.

Sep 28, 2012 @ 19:15:26
Dear Natalie,
thank you for the answer. Still, I was wondering how will the selection be made: according to the success on the test only or according to the language combination and the success in the tests?
Thank you in advance,
Nika
Oct 01, 2012 @ 15:46:23
Dear Nika,
The selection criterias are mentioned in the Notice of competition, which is legally binding. It is not mentioned that the selection would be according to the candidate’s language combination.

Sep 04, 2012 @ 13:15:52
Dear Marie,
I was just wondering why is taking so long to get the results since it is a computer based test?? I tought that the results should come out immidiatley, like, for example, at the preparation tests that we use to practice online- the result is shown immidiatley or after the time is up. So, I was just wondering why is taking so much time for EPSO? Thank you very much!
Sep 05, 2012 @ 10:31:55
Dear Valentina,
This is the usual procedure, since often candidates are arguing on the questions they received during the tests.
Best regards,

Aug 29, 2012 @ 12:06:03
Could you give us some information about the language test in Croatian and in 2nd foreign language? What will they look like and where could we find some samples? Thank you very much.
Aug 29, 2012 @ 16:29:54
Dear Adriaan,
Tests (d) and (e) will not be translation tests. It will consist of a linguistic comprehension of a 1 page text (A4), which will be followed by a series of questions (on grammar, vocabulary,…) You will find some sample tests under the chapter ‘Linguists’ at : http://europa.eu/epso/discover/prepa_test/sample_test/index_en.htm
Best regards,
Aug 31, 2012 @ 11:01:17
Thank you for your answer, but the samples on this link are only for translation tests and not for language and comprehension test. Kind regards, Adriaan
Aug 31, 2012 @ 11:45:08
Dear Adriaan,
You can see examples of the new language tests for translators in English, French or German on that page. Please see : http://europa.eu/epso/apply/today/doc/sa-en002t_en.pdf

Aug 23, 2012 @ 18:53:07
Dear EPSO,
I found contradictory information regarding the language in which the computer tests for translators with Croatian as their main language will take place. So, are the verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning tests going to be held in English or Croatian?
Many thanks in advance.
Aug 24, 2012 @ 11:35:18
Dear Iva,
They will not be held in Croatian. The language of each test is mentioned in the Notice of competition : http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:C:2012:180A:0005:0009:EN:PDF

I just noticed that I filled my application in Croatian. How big a problem is that? Can I correct it?
Aug 17, 2012 @ 14:43:54
Dear Suna,
Your application form may unfortunately no longer be modified after its validation.
It was indeed requested from candidates to fill in their application form in either French, English or German, so the Selection Board will have to take a decision about this. This decision will be taken after that the Admission tests took place.
Best regards,
