Why this site?

EU-Careers info: your way to stay up to date

Welcome to the EU-Careers info site: your way to stay updated with what’s happening in a competition or selection procedure open for applications in 2012 and in which you are currently participating*. Thank you for joining us.

Who are we? This page is maintained by EPSO – the European Personnel Selection Office. We run open competitions and selection procedures on behalf of 9 European Institutions. Want an EU Career? – We are the place to start. This site is primarily intended for people who already know us (see below). If you are not yet a candidate, you’d better first check out our website http://www.eu-careers.eu

Who are you? We think you are one of the candidates in our competitions or selections procedures. The EU-Careers info pages are primarily intended as a help desk for people participating in our competitions and selection procedures. As such it is complementary to the EPSO Candidate Contact Service and our Facebook pages [I’ve applied].

Why should you bookmark this page? Because this is THE place where you will find access to all information about your competition or selection procedure: from legal documents to latest status updates.

What does this all mean? This means that we are eager to help you as much as possible to have a smooth passage through our demanding competitions and selection procedures. We believe that providing customer service through online media channels has a great potential in terms of giving you exactly what you need, when and how you need it. We are keen to try this new approach – and hope you’ll be willing to help us to shape this service to meet the needs of the community of our candidates.

* If someone would like to follow what’s happening in a competition or selection procedure in which s/he is not participating – well, that’s possible. However this portal has been set up and is being run with a different idea.
