Behavioural insights for public policy: hands on session with Erasmus University students

On April 6 2017 the EU Policy Lab welcomed a group of 12 students from the Bachelor Honours Research Class of the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam (the Netherlands). This selective program exposes top students across all bachelor programs in the Erasmus School of Economics to research and research-oriented careers. A key goal of this program is to showcase how state-of-the-art research in economics is done both in academia and in non-academic institutions.

New project on the future of migration in Europe

On 28 March 2017 the First Advisory Committee Meeting of the EU Policy Lab foresight project on the future of migration in Europe took place in Brussels. Lab Connections – what’s cooking?

The Lab Connections event in October 2016 was meant to familiarise policymakers with policy labs and policy lab approaches by hands-on work on EU challenges. Ten challenges from eight different policy areas were re-framed and explored in parallel lab sessions involving policy labs, Commission services, public authorities from different Member States and academics. Future challenges & policy preparedness: key water management issues for the sustainable development of the Danube River Basin
