Elisabeta has joined the EU Policy Lab in October 2016. She has over 20 years of experience in futures research, working primarily in assessing global trends, their interplay and potential implications for policy. She is co-author of the annual “State of the Future” report and has been also teaching futures studies. Elisabeta is an administrator of the Global Futures Intelligence System (GFIS) and she is computing the annual State of the Future Index. She has been involved in the design and implementation of several early warning systems for policymakers and she is part of various committees and forums addressing foresight, international regulations, security, economics, environment, and different S&T aspects.
