Entitled “Unlocking the future: EU industrial ecosystems on the path to the green and digital transition”, this year’s edition aspires to stimulate discussions across industrial ecosystems on their green and digital transition, in order to further support and strengthen the resilience of EU industries and SMEs.

Since the first edition in 2017, the EU Industry Days were established and recognised as the European Commission’s main platform for an open stakeholder dialogue and discussion on industry.

The programme this year will be divided into 4 thematic days, giving you plenty of reasons to join the conference and take part in the discussion on turning industrial challenges into opportunities for Europe as well as to learn about the latest practical information on how to benefit from the new generation of EU programmes and initiatives supporting industrial transformation.

Here are some sessions you should keep an eye on:

• 9 February – Panel discussion on the unitary patent system and SME instruments in the area of intellectual property (15:15 – 16:00)
• 9 February – Standardization in support of the twin transition of industrial SMEs (16:15 – 17:00)
• 11 February – New SME Fund: Intellectual Property voucher for post-covid recovery and green and digital transitions (12:45 – 13:30)

Plus… the intervention of Kristina Dimova, SME Week 2021 Youth Essay Competition winner, on 10 February during the Plenary Session: Inspiring Dialogue with Young Europeans. We will tell you more about Kristina’s participation soon.
