Welcome to the latest edition of the SME Week Newsletter
In this edition of the SME Week newsletter, we have two important announcements: the launch of the 2022 SME Week Youth Essay Competition (YEC) and the launch of the new and improved version of the Promoting Enterprise App. Let’s take them one by one!
The YEC gives young people a chance to share their ideas for solving the big challenges of today with key figures from the world of business. This year’s topic is ‘How can future young entrepreneurs contribute to a more sustainable economy?’ So if you’re aged 18-25 and have any bright ideas, send them in to the link below!
The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) has launched a new and improved version of the Promoting Enterprise App, enabled by the SwapCard platform. The new app will transform your SME Week and SME Assembly experience with its many novel features and will extend the benefits of SME Week long beyond the three days of the event. Scroll down for the details!
Other news includes an important announcement about the SME Assembly 2022, sharing the official date and location of the year´s most expected event for the sector, more details of support for Ukrainian refugees and links to interviews with two jury members for the 2022 European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA). We also have details of the ‘The Single Market, the Natural Playground for European SMEs’ conference at which EEPA jury members participated in the month of June in Paris.
As ever, we are happy to hear from you, our readers. So please share any stories you have that might be of interest to the SME community. They could be featured in a future newsletter or on the Promoting Enterprise News Portal.
