Talkwalker arrives in the USA_Map

It’s been a busy 2015 so far for Talkwalker with the introduction of new features, the arrival of new staff and the continued growth of the company. But by far the biggest news is that Talkwalker has opened a new office in New York City.

We have seen in the last months increasing interest and numerous new clients coming from the United States so we’re confident that our new office will be kept busy! Our new US entity will be led by a new arrival, CEO Americas Todd Grossman, who joins the executive team from Precise, a Kantar Media Company based in New York. Todd is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the fields of analytics, sales, PR and marketing. So it is great to get him on board to help spearhead our growth in North America.

Here in Europe and now in US, we continue to spread the word about social data intelligence and how companies can benefit from it. Companies across all industries from finance to pharmaceuticals and tech to retail are increasingly seeing the impact that social media analytics can have on their business so it’s a really exciting time.  Later this year we’ll also be introducing a load of new features to the platform making it even easier to use and even more powerful than ever. 2015 is looking great so far and I can’t wait to see what the future brings!

Thibaut Britz is Founder and CTO at Talkwalker. At the age of 17 he designed, developed and ran blue.lu, the first local full text search engine in Luxembourg. Since the launch of the company in 2009 he has made use of his expertise in software development, crawling technology and data extraction to establish Talkwalker as the leading European web data collector and search company.

Thibaut holds a MSc degree in Computer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) and has won talent awards in 2011 and 2012.

Thibaut Britz - Trendiction S.A. (new version)

I started Trendiction because I am passionate about social media and I love building things. My co-founder and I have developed a series of powerful and user-friendly tools (with some help from business angels, private equity and Luxinnovation, a local government programme), that give our customers unique insight into their internet presence; which in turn allows them to react faster, better and more accurately to consumer feedback, resulting in better products. Our most popular product, Talkwalker, was rated one of the top five best social media monitoring tools and online reputation management tools globally in 2013.

If I were in charge of enterprise policy, I would select a handful of entrepreneurs and support them for a year while they develop their ideas.
